Reichmuth & Co Investment Management AG has successfully finalised another investment in the rail transport sector: Under the terms of the transaction, the 35 Vectron AC locomotives ordered from Siemens will be leased to Schweizerische Bundesbahnen AG, or SBB, for a period of eight years.

Vectron locomotives are making an important contribution to the decarbonisation of the transport sector due to their high level of reliability and performance. By creating a CO2-efficient supply chain for the economy, they are promoting the transition from road to rail and driving forward ecologically sound logistics as a result. The AC locomotives will mainly operate in Switzerland, but can also be deployed across the border in Germany and Austria.
